So Cal Crush FC Announces New Head Coach

LOS ANGELES, California (January, 30 2018) – So Cal Crush FC is excited to announce they have hired Kurtis Millan as Head Coach for the 2018 season. Millan comes to So Cal Crush FC from Northern Ireland and spent many years playing professional soccer in the UK. With his extensive background in the game in the UK, Kurtis turned his focus to coaching in the States. After 5 years of coaching on the east coast for Global Premier Soccer, Millan has made his way out to the west coast and is excited for the opportunity to coach in United Women’s Soccer. Millan remarked, “I have heard great things about the UWS, the quality of play and the opportunities created for the players. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish in the second season for So Cal Crush FC.”

Owner and last season’s head coach Reggie Rivas will stay on and coach with Millan. “We wanted to up our game. We feel bringing Kurtis to coach with me will provide our players with the same environment they have come to know, while elevating our play and bring a different European perspective.”

The ownership group of Neal Bird, Reggie Rivas and The Archer Travel Group are extremely proud to provide an opportunity for future, current and post collegiate soccer players to continue developing their craft. About United Women’s Soccer (UWS): UWS is a national women’s soccer league sanctioned by U.S. Soccer through the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). UWS is a professionally operated league created for teams that meet high minimum standards. The season runs from May until the end of July, culminating in a National Championship match. The UWS player pool is comprised of college players, aspiring & former professionals and international stars.
